Access your E-Mail using Microsoft Outlook Express

To configure Outlook Express for your Earth Skater email account:

  1. Start Outlook Express.

  2. From Home > Account Settings (newer versions) or the Tools menu, select Accounts.

  3. Select the Mail tab.

  4. Select Add, then select Mail. The Internet Connection Wizard opens.

    • In the Display Name field, enter your name and then select Next.

    • In the E-mail Address field, enter your e-mail address (ex. myemail@mydomain.com) and then select Next.

    • In the Incoming Mail Server (POP3) field (PORT 995 FOR POP3 or PORT 993 FOR IMAP), enter mail.earthskater.com (SSL REQUIRED).

    • In the Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) field, enter mail.earthskater.com (AUTO option should be selected for type of encryption) (PORT 25 / 587 / or 588 are available) and then select Next.

    • In the Account Name field, enter your User Name supplied by Earth Skater (your username is your complete email address).

    • In the Password field, enter your Password supplied by Earth Skater and then select Next.

  1. Select Finish to save new mail settings. The Internet Connection Wizard opens.

  2. Select Properties. The Properties window closes.

  3. Select the Servers tab.

    • Select the My server requires authentication check box, and then select Settings.

    • Verify Use same settings as my incoming mail server is selected. Click OK to close the mail.earthskater.com Properties window.

  4. Select OK to save the mail account settings.

  5. Click Close to exit the Internet Accounts window.

  6. Select Send and Receive to send and receive e-mail using your new mail account.

* To avoid going over your email storage limit:

  1. From the Tools menu, select Accounts.

  2. Select the Mail tab and double click your email account to modify

  3. Click the More settings button if there is one and then click the Advanced tab.  (if there is no more settings button, look for the Advanced tab)
  4. Under delivery make sure no options are checked.  (leave a copy on server should be unchecked)

If the sending email does not work (outgoing failed) then click the Advanced tab of your account settings and use outgoing port 587 instead of port 25.

To Create / Modify / Delete an Email Accounts:

  1. Login to your website control panel with your username and password.
  2. Click on the Domains icon
  3. Click on the domain name you wish to create / modify a POP3 Email account for
  4. Click on the Email Accounts (POP3 Email) icon

To Modify an Email Account:

  1. Click on an Email address to modify that email account
  2. You may Modify the password for this email account
  3. You may also click Delete to delete this account

To Create an Email account:

  1. Click Add New to create a new email account
  2. Enter the email address and password for the new email account
  3. Select "Catch-all" if you want this account to receive all email not addressed to any other email account.
  4. Enter an email address for "Store and forward" if you wish to store and forward all email to another email account.
